This error will occur, if your Silverlight project  is set as Startup Project.

To resolve this error we need to follow the below steps.

1. Right click on solution

2. Select  Set Startup Project.

3. Common Properties->Startup Project

4. Change the Single Startup Project  to your  dotnet project.
